We are learning about The Fruits of The Spirit.

This week's fruit was watermelon! The theme for the week was PEACE. We learned how Jesus is the Prince of Peace.  He calmed the crazy and wild storm on the sea. He can also calm crazy and wild storms in our lives!

Our weekly Word Verse is: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

We had a visit from Cysco who helped the kids learn the Word Verse. He kept falling asleep but the kids woke him each time by yelling "Wake Up" which he did with a yell and scream!

We played the memory verse box game.

Pastor Paul taught on Jesus calming the storm on the sea and split everyone up into four groups.  One was the wind, one was the waves, one was the heavy rain and one was crying babies (disciples)!  Each had a specific time when to make their noises and do their hand motions during the story.  Then he also taught about the demon possessed man who was violent.  Jesus brought peace to his life too!
